We use PowermicII with Dragon Medical.  We know you can configure the buttons through tools>options>Powermic II.  Can you re-program  the mouse control / left and right click and more specifically the left click on the underside of the mouse.

The mouse controller buttons do not appear to be programmable because you only have access to the menu items you see under the PowerMic II options tab.
