Welcome to the World’s Most Popular Speech Recognition Forum

Between these 2 microphones, the non-pro version would actually be slightly more user-friendly for speech recognition use because it includes a built-in USB driver. The pro model, includes features that would not be helpful in speech recognition such as an XLR connector (which would have to be bypassed) and a higher sampling rate which would not be useful.

The Blue Yeti is an incredibly cute microphone that can be used for speech recognition but is designed more for podcasting. Although the Blue Yeti is relatively inexpensive at $150, we cannot recommend it for serious speech recognition use because it simply doesn't hold a candle to the SpeechWare 3-in-1 TableMike when dictating beyond 8 inches.
