Is it normal for the sample rate to be greyed out on my Jabra GN9330 USB microphone.

Thanks in advance
Steve

We are not certain what you mean by the sampling rate. We know that the Jabra 9470 includes 2 sampling rate options which are referred to as standard band and wideband. You would want to go wideband (the default) but we are not familiar with any sampling rate options associated with the GN 9330e. If you're talking about sampling rate settings on your computer, this is controlled by NaturallySpeaking.

Hi Lunis

That's exactly what I was talking about. So it is normal to be greyed out because Dragon NaturallySpeaking has taken over the settings?

Still looking around to find out why my microphone works OK in a completely quiet environment and absolutely terrible with any background noise, obviously not related to that though. As I have said in another thread I have been using this particular type of microphone for two years and all of a sudden it decides that it has no noise cancelling when it most certainly had more before. I did what you suggested in listening to the playback of a recording of my voice and there is no interference.

Anyway thanks for your help.
Steve
