I recently got an Andrea usb sa, to use with my airline seventy-seven. When I put it through the microphone test it sounds like it is in a cave. When I plug it into the computer's soundcard it sounds nice and crisp.
Any ideas.

Paul, Another variant of this is, "If there is a 1 in 10 million chance that something that you do will fail or go wrong, just remember that you are #1." -------------------------

The recording sounds clean but with a deep reverb or echo. It sounds as though you may have inadvertently created a sound output loop. Is anything connected to the PureAudio USB output? Are you certain that you have no special effects turned on through the software that was included with your PureAudio. If none of fits the bill, we recommend returning your sound card to your speech recognition VAR to test.
