I know both the ODMS Dictation Module, background Speech Recognition, and the Dragon Transcription agent, they both use the Dragon speech engine, so the final transcriptions of a DS2 file from an Olympus DS-9500 should be the same... But they are not!

For me, using the first option, it gives better accuracy.

Any specific reason why the  ODMS route would give better accuracy results? Thanks

ODMS does not include a speech engine. It is simply a front end that is used to automatically download and manipulate DS2 recordings, such as automatic email. When using ODMS, you may be using Dragon's AutoTranscribe Folder Agent or manually Dragon transcribing but there should be no difference in accuracy because both options use the same tools. We have been running this test for more than a decade and have never noticed any difference.
