I have Dragon 11.5 with an Olympus dm 450 DVR and DSP 400 USB Headset My question is I have set up my user profile using my USB headset which works great, but I want to transcribe some recordings I have made on my Olympus dm450 DVR Do I have to train Dragon to my DVR or set up a new profile if so how do I do this? |

Welcome to the World’s Most Popular Speech Recognition Forum
It won't hurt to transcribe your digital recordings over the top of your USB microphone profile but you will probably appreciate higher accuracy if you create a dedicated digital recorder user profile because this unit is not particularly well-suited to speech recognition. Better recorders not only feature higher accuracy but typically work well over a standard microphone user profile. The DM 450 is a consumer grade jack of all trades (master of none) recorder. Only Olympus digital recorders, that feature the DS2 algorithms, are ideally suited to speech recognition. If you're unfamiliar with creating a digital recorder user profile, our Digital Recorder Guide includes a step-by-step on the process. -------------------------
