When selecting text to play back, Dragon Medical will only read back a small amount of text back.

If a large number of words is selected, the program will not playback the text at all.  Only a small amount of text (3-4 words) will playback.

Need help!

We were just discussing this with Nuance level III technical support and the only thing that jumps out at them is the possibility that you don't have enough RAM or processing power. Your user profile states that you're using Windows 7 with 4 Gb of RAM which should be ample for playback but would you mind letting us know the speed and type of chip your computer uses?

Hi,

Could this have anything to do with the selection spanning utterance boundaries? Try placing the insertion pointer on a word and then try the play back option.

If however, you are refering to the synthetic speech playback with Realspeak, could SAPI 5 be a problem?
