when I'm my windows XP professional (Dutch version) and I'm typing an English text, the select option doesn't work. it always tells me he couldn't find any text matching. I tried searching for an answer on technical support but the only thing I found was "the ctfmon.exe conflict" which wasn't the case.I should also note that the speech to text works perfectly fine. Can someone please help me it's a pretty buggy problem. thanks, Haiko |

More information would be helpful. What application are you dictating into? Which version of DNS are you using? Did you try disabling cftmon.exe? In Windows XP, cftmon.exe and DNS do not play well together! |

like I said I did see the ctfmon.exe but it wasn't running while I had the problem. the problem is on almost every application and I'm using DragonNaturallySpeaking 9.0. First I thought the problem was trying to select a pasted text but I also noticed I also have the problem contexts I spoke myself. And sometimes it does select words but sometimes it don't. |

If you're using Windows XP, CTFMON.exe is more than likely running and you can view it in the Processes Tab of your Task Manager. CTFMON Remover should take care of your problem.
