Someone just pointed out that increasing the type size in this new KnowBrainer forum is a simple matter of pressing CTRL +. Boy, does that work like a charm. Is there something just as simple (or, okay, even complicated) for increasing font size of the spell/correct boxes?

dylan - You can increase the size of the font on the Forum permanently by clicking on "My Options" at the top of any screen, then selecting "Personal Info." Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see "Font Size." Using the drop-down arrow, you can select "Larger."  It is a perfect size for me!

I forgot to answer your second question. You can increase the correction box font size by doing this: Right-click on an empty spot on your desktop and select "Properties." Next, select the tab at the top that says: "Appearance." On the next screen select "Advanced" - bottom right.

Under "Item," use the drop down arrow to select "Message Box." It is probably set for Tahoma 8. I have mine increased to Ariel 10 BOLD - and it makes the correction box (and any other message box in Windows) much easier to see. You can play around with this setting and increase the font size and change the font face to see what suits you best.

Good luck!

Dana, is there anything you CAN'T fix? both of these were perfect solutions. thank you.

Now, I bet you can tell me how to permanently increase the font size in the DragonPad, which is where I do all of my writing. I only know how to change it each time I open it.

Thanks,

Dylan

OH, YES!  It's just that the questions you are asking, I just happen to know the answers for!!  (Thanks!  Makes me feel good!)

As for the Dragon Pad - Lunis answered that at 2:52 a.m. this morning (10/08/06 - guess he couldn't sleep!) in this posting:

"Default DragonPad Font and Tip Size."   Look for it further down in this same thread...

He said, :"You'll find a step-by-step on changing your default font size and style by looking up "font" in our Quick Tips"
