I've been a user for some time, and I just lost my Naturally Speaking Preferred Ver 9 install disk. I only use Naturally Speaking occasionally since I have discovered I can't dictate grammatically correct sentences worth a damn. I mostly used it in the past for matters where I could read from one document and place the information in another program (i.e. populating databases, Excel, etc.) where I have had very good success. My question: Do I buy Naturally Speaking Preferred Ver 9/9.5 (Preferred) now, or is version 10 just around the corner? I usually get a discount from Nuance for upgrades and I don't want to spend full price now, then have to update in a couple of months. Any advice? - JRM |

This will solve your immediate problem and give you a full working version of DNS 9.5 Preferred. This is a free update/upgrade to all registered users of DNS 9. Only your serial number is required. You will receive an e-mail notification and the location for downloading DNS 9.5 Preferred. However, read the instructions carefully. Second, don't wait for DNS 10. It is not around the corner. If very likely will not be released until the end of the year or beginning of 2009. The earliest you will see DNS 10 is likely just before Christmas, but the most likely release date will be February of 2009. If you hold your breath, you probably won't last long enough to see it. ;-) Nevertheless, forget about DNS 10. It isn't even a glint in its mother's eye yet. Chuck Runquist I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
