Question From ScanSoft Forum
Quote:
I have DNS nine preferred, and suddenly I cannot dictate into Word documents. Dragon will follow commands such as go to sleep or wake up, but will not print texts. I have no problems dictating into WordPad. Do I need to adjust some settings? Or something else?

This is a fairly common problem.  Dictation in Microsoft Word can be prevented if you have more than one Microsoft Word document open at a time (which can include Microsoft Outlook 2003 and earlier e-mails) or launch Microsoft Word before launching NaturallySpeaking.  If you don't fall into either of these 2 categories, you'll find additional solutions in our Quick Tips by looking up "What to do when you lose Select-&-Say in Microsoft Word”.
