I have used DNS 11.5 for about a year now.  However, recently, it has started acting very strange.  When dictating in MS Word 2010, I will intermittently get the error SendKeys canceled and when I look at details it says "at line 1 script Dragon Voice Commands Automation."  This seems to happen reliably when I copy and/or paste text in the document but it also happens at other times.  Moreover, DNS will seem to sometimes adopt a command only mode for a second and interpret whatever I say as "Send Email To" and then fill in the subject line with whatever I just said.  This occurs whether or not Outlook 2010 is open.   Following these issues, Dragon will lock up for about a minute or two and then resume functionality.

Looking at the Dragon.log usually says something like

"13:16:51 ERROR (EngSink): NaturallySpeaking is having trouble with the application or module 'Global dictation engine sink'. Please close the application and try again.
13:16:51 Info: using word pairs <'enx_vdct 28'>
13:16:51 Info: using word pairs <'enx_word14 138'>
13:16:51 Info: using word pairs <'enx_ribbon_menu 15'>
13:16:51 ERROR (EngSink): NaturallySpeaking is having trouble with the application or module 'Global dictation engine sink'. Please close the application and try again.
13:16:51 LOG (Perf): DgnSAPI paused -> BeginUtt = 60241 msec
13:17:21 Timeout waiting for COMObjects to be removed from thread 1568.
13:17:21 dd10hook: Wait for Mutex timed out"

I have tried completely uninstalling Dragon (with patch 11.5 added) using fresh voice files with no custom commands and get the same issue.

My computer specs are Windows 7 Home Premium, Core i7,  4 GB RAM

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Andy

PS I would have spell checked this but copy/paste is disabled here!

This is either being caused by an out of date version of Adobe Reader or your browser has recently updated to the latest version of Adobe Flash which is incompatible with DNS. You'll find a step-by-step solution in the NaturallySpeaking Quick Tips (located under Recommend Links section of this forum) when you search for “Hookerr”

I don't see any "Recommended Links" section.

Are we to remove Adobe Flash Player?

Can a older version be found and installed?

Thank you.

Seems like I don't have a left column in Firefox on this Forum, I must have set it that way somehow.

However, when I open the Forum in Internet Explorer, I do have a left column, and found the link.

When using Firefox, do you see a little triangle near the top left of the forum page? If so, click it to bring back your other menu items.

Look in the left column of the forum page
The last Blue Box is titles "Recommended Links"
The first link is: http://www.knowbrainer.com/downloads/NatPro_Quick_Tips.pdf

On the top of page 10
Restoring to a previous flash version: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
