I have a movie database which uses abreviations for common words to descxrive the

genre of a movie.  For example, for Action I use Act, for Adventure I use Adv,

for Crime I use Cri, for Mystery I use Mys.

How do I get dragon to use the abreviated form of the word when I add items to

my database?

Thanks

The easiest way of doing this is to use the vocabulary editor and adding the abbreviations as the written forms, along with some easy to resolve spoken forms, as in:

Act (as written form) - action genre (as spoken form)
Adv (as written form) - adventure genre (as spoken form)

and so on
