"Correct that" doesn't work well because instead of selecting the last utterance to correct, the program assumes that you want to correct the word "that". Statistically, the user would be likely to want to correct the word "that" less than one trillionth of 1% of the time. Seems like they should've designed the program to go with what is more likely in such a situation. |

Your best option is to change the "Correct That" command to something else like "Correct That Please" or whatever words you wish. Go to the following location:
C:\ProgramData\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking11\Users\<YOUR USER NAME>\Current\Options.ini Add the following to the end of your Options.ini: enx Correct That Command=Correct That Please ------------------------- |

G.J., Lindsay's suggestion is bulletproof, but I'll offer a humble alternative: this is one of those instances where it'd probably be beneficial to train "correct that." I agree that it's generally useless for Dragon to be able to correct "that" (especially when misrecognitions screw with such a fundamental aspect of the dictation process), but I was one of the poor saps who was always inadvertently correcting "dot." As in, Dragon would interpret my "correct that" as "correct dot" and find the last "." to act on. Training the phrase in my normal cadence has removed any further misrecognitions. ------------------------- Eric Wright At work: DNS 12 Pro.
