Anyone have any recommendations for good Dragon-friendly task manager? Looking primarily for a web-based to-do list that plays well with Dragon. Any ideas?

Ras,

The best to do list (task manager) that I've found over the years in terms of Dragon compatibility is what is contained in Microsoft Outlook. Dragon has a significant number of Natural Language Commands that work very effectively with the task manager built into Microsoft Outlook. I've never found an online "to-do list" that works well with Dragon. Doesn't mean there isn't one, but since I use Microsoft Outlook and it's task manager combined with its calendar and e-mail integration is the best that I could find and still is as far as I'm concerned. Not only does Microsoft Outlook have an excellent "to do list" (task manager), it is fully integrated with every other aspect and fully supported by DNS.

Depending on which version of Microsoft Office you own, you may have received a complimentary copy of OneNote which is fairly NaturallySpeaking friendly and includes lots of surprise options like the ability to remember where you copied information from the Internet, JPEG's, hyperlinks and various formatting. Think of it as a giant versatile sticky note. OneNote, like Outlook, is also under KnowBrainer control. 2 commands that you might not stumble across are:

1.
Delete Note
which is not as easy as you might think from an hands-free point of view but as long as your cursor is inside the note, this command will delete it.

2.
Call Back: Will copy the entire note to the clipboard (make sure you include the phone number at the beginning of your note but it's OK to have several lines under the phone number or information to the right of the phone number), opens Windows Dialer, drops the phone number and additional text into the dialing box (not to worry as Windows Dialer will ignore the text), dials the number, gives you 7 seconds to pick up the receiver, exits the Dialer (to eliminate splitting the signal) and visually prompts you to delete the note. Should you reach the other party, simply press the {Enter} Key to close the warning and delete the note. The reason why we brought this up is because we use OneNote all the time. When we start falling behind on phone calls, we drop the information into OneNote and then use KnowBrainer to call back the numbers. The only thing you need to add to your computer, if you don't already have 1, is a $20 USB fax modem and a telephone cable. Now you know why we need 5 monitors and 2 computers

thanks guys. I have shifted back and forth between web-based e-mail/tasks managers and Outlook too many times to count. Now heading back to Outlook again. I've been playing with the consumer prerelease of Windows 8 and like what I see. I'm hoping there will be similar innovation with Outlook in office. My main concern with Outlook this is simply too feature-rich for me, I don't need all that offers - which tends to make the interface quite cluttered. is anyone heard any rumors of new features in the next version of office?
