Thats what Im getting. A loud continuous buzzing when i hear the playback at the audio check.

Im using this with the Andrea USB pod. Ive tried it without and the same problem.

The receiver is hearing me  as the audio meter lights up when I speak. All that Dragon is hearing is a loud buzz.  RF meter shows 100.

Im using this with DNS premium and on a AMD hex core 1035t processor with 8 GB ram.

Any ideas???

The audio meter should normally only light up 1 or 2 bars at most because the meter is tuned for vocalists which would be considerably louder. More than 2 bars on the audio meter means that you are likely receiving some form of interference or the unit is malfunctioning. The RF meter is for signal strength and appears to be running correctly.

Can you temporarily substitute a standard AAA alkaline battery to rule out the rechargeables? This probably isn't an issue but we are attempting to eliminate possible problems. It sounds like you said that you attempted to bypass that USB soundcard so we can rule it out of the equation but did the Audio Check display a choice for your USB soundcard and did you choose it? If you're using a desktop computer, are you using a rear dedicated USB port (no USB splitters or front ports)? If all else fails, please contact us for an
RMA so that we can test your unit here.

Yes the audio check did show a USB device.

Ive also tried the rear USB.

I will try the different battery.

Addit: just want to say Ive got the airline 77 working. Lunis gave the idea of changing the battery. Bang ...it works. Tried it at work with large background noise....nice. Just wish they would change the design a little, maybe a little more user friendly. I know it wasn't created for speech rec. But if they manage to come up with an " over the head" version. Cool.

Very very happy with my purchase. Thank you to Lunis and the KB team. Thank you for fast shipping, good online support and the fact that the ALL BLACKS are the world Champs!!!!
