When I am running Firefox and I want to go to a link on my toolbar, and I say the name of the link, the cursor goes to the link and back to where it was and does nothing. when I say the name of an item in the menu bar, the item looks like it was executed, but nothing happens. in the options. In the commands tab of the options ,I have unselected the checkboxes which require clicking.when I highlight a word and say, " Cap That", nothing happens. Also, the select command does not work. I think their are going to be a lot more problems.

Welcome to the KnowBrainer Forums
The short answer is that Firefox is only partially NaturallySpeaking compatible; regardless of the hype you may have heard. If you want to browse hands-free, the simplest solution is to switch to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, there is currently not enough pressure being applied to the Godzilla/Firefox developers to make their browser speech recognition friendly but it wouldn't be that difficult and the tools are freely available to them. -------------------------

This didn't happen before. I was able to go to bookmarks without saying click. I will try Internet Explorer, but I am getting the feeling that upgrading to 11.5 was a mistake.

Les1947, Go to "Tools - Options - Commands". If you have a checkmark in "Require Click to select hyperlinks in HTML windows", remove it and confirm if you are not comfortable with it. Rüdiger
------------------------- Well, it's past the point where we can make any changes in the code, but we can still make changes to the Easter Egg! |

I had already done this. Even though I had, after receiving your recommendations, I confirmed this. Those checkboxes are not checked. I'm having the same problem with Internet Explorer.
Am I the only one having problems with the hyperlinks? also every time I open Internet Explorer I get an error about scripts. See attachment.

well, if anyone's interested, I found the solution to my problem. I did this, only after reloading Dragon NaturallySpeaking professional. I still had the problem. I've got a new desktop. I have been running Dragon on a laptop. I set the slide bar on tools >options to the fastest setting. I went back into the options and moved the slide bar to the halfway point. Problem solved. I don't know why, but my computer or Dragon or both didn't like that setting.
