As far as I can recall, I have chosen US English when I installed DNS, and Asian accent when I set my user profile.

When I dictate words ending in "ize," such as "baptize" and "authorize," they come out ending in "ise," i.e., "baptise" and "authorise," which Microsoft Word immediately tags as errors and to which Microsoft Word offers to correct to "baptize" and "authorize."  I know, of course, that both variations are correct: the "ize" ending recommended by Microsoft Word is US English, while the "ise" ending is British English.

I tried to live with this quirk by correcting each occurrence as I dictate.  I soon found out that it is an error I have to deal with the rest of my dictating life.  I discovered that all the DNS vocabulary installed in my PC has "ise" ending, and the occurrence of this error in Microsoft Word is becoming intolerable.

Is there a way to change the DNS vocabulary to correct this "error"in one fell swoop?

I solved this problem by re-creating my user profile and indicating US English all throughout.

It seems that DNS is making the British English the default language; so that even if you chose US English when you installed DNS, but also chose regional language other than US English in creating your user profile, DNS will all automatically choose British English for you.
