Hi, I'm hoping some one can help me. I have 2 DNS Medical Users who are set up with Roaming profiles. They both have the same PC configuration and use the same mic to dictate. At the beginning of each month they switch offices with each other. What is happening is that when they start using dragon in the other office, all the words that they have trained (on the former PC) are no longer recognized. How can this be if they have roaming user profiles? Is there a better way of handling this since the said users will not give up the option of switching offices. Thank you in advance. jmiller |

It sounds like the Roaming profiles are not linked (Roaming). You might try disengaging the Roaming user profiles and re-enabling them again.

I've been administrating about 60 roaming user profiles for the past 2 years.
A few additional suggestions: 1. Make sure you are using the same sound source such as the ANC audio pod or powermic II on both computers. 2. Make sure that both users have checked "saved vocabulary" under options as well as make sure that the option for saving the user profiles is saved each time it is opened or closed. 3. Check to make sure the Acoustic Langauge Model Optimier is run at least weekly. 4. Make sure the settings under "administrator settings" are set identically on both computers.
Hope that helps!
