For some reason my Dragon 2007 with UniVoice seems to get corrupted easily.  My 2006 with the earlier Uinvoice seems to be much better.  When I uninstall 2007 then reinstall it and then use the 15,000 word vocabulary when I tried to install my old vocabularies with PutWords I usually get an error saying:




function ILapPronounce Add Return 0x*0041038

Anyone have any ideas?  Thank you so much.

We assume you mean KnowBrainer 2007 and UniVoice 9.5 rather than Dragon 2007. We also assume you're referring to the 50,000 word vocabulary rather than a 15,000 word vocabulary.

PutWords is rejecting one of the words in your vocabulary. If, after running PutWords, you open your Vocabulary Editor up and look at the last word, you should be able to find a matching word in your personal vocabulary. Once you find the matching word, the next word alphabetically down in the list, is probably the culprit that needs to be removed.

You are quite right, I meant KnowBrainer 2007 and UniVoice 9.5. I also meant the 50,000 word.  The 15,000 word vocabulary is being used by a particular presidential candidate to explain flip-flops, et cetera.  But I am certain everyone has recognized this.

We had a winter storm warning last night. When it occurs in Cincinnati people do strange things. I ended up having several martinis for breakfast to get enough courage up to drive into work.  As a result, I was rather slow this morning.

Of course, I have no idea how the open up my personal vocabulary. I sent them to the desktop when I exported them.  Do I open them in Word?

I probably will be back in a few minutes asking more questions about this.

Just double-click the file. It will automatically open in Notepad.

Stupid question time.  I was able to open up a vocabulary that offended put words.  I opened up the vocabulary editor.  I've just gone through Z,W, X and V without any matching words. I will work on it some more tomorrow as I have more work to do.
