Lunis -- the date and time stamp still does not appear to be fixed in KnowBrainer 2006 revision B+. Can you confirm this on your end?

when you employ this command, it gives you the proper date but then prints midnight for the time.

Time Stamp works in our system but Date Stamp may be AWOL.  We'll check with our programmer.  Don't forget these types of commands can easily be added to the Command Browser in Professional.

But what about the command: Date and Time Stamp?  That's where the command will issue the correct date but show 12:00 am as the time.

We can't even get the Time and Date Stamp command to to work. However, if you're using the professional version of NaturallySpeaking you can create your own by copying the following Advanced-Scripting code in the NaturallySpeaking Command Browser.

Sub Main

        SendKeys Format(Now, "hh:mmAM/PM mm-dd-yyyy" )

End Sub

Hmmmm...

Did you try ... Date and Time Stamp?  Saying the date first works with the exception that the time is wrong.

Lunis,

this really does not work either because it seems that the no-brainer command takes precedence over the DNS command. I will have to delete the command within no-brainer to make it work.

Most KnowBrainer commands do not take precedence over the NaturallySpeaking Command Browser commands but a handful of commands like “Date Stamp” are hardcoded and cannot be edited.  This leaves you with the following 2 options:

1.  Create a personal variation of our command (defined in a previous posting) like “Date and Time” or...

 2.  Wait for the fix in REV C.  Our programmer has promised us that the fix is simply too embarrassing not to do ;-).

We have also added a few additional commands.

Refresh KnowBrainer ~ closes and relaunches KnowBrainer to refresh any new commands you have created

Add Application ~ is designed to open the KnowBrainer Command Browser, click the Add Application menu, click the Find button, move the cursor to the next window (which is the application where your cursor was previously), wait a few seconds for KnowBrainer to figure out the name of the window, move the cursor back to the Name field of the Add Application window and prompt you to name the command which will automatically appear in Title Case.

We have also revamped the KnowBrainer Version Number ~ command which will visually and verbally tell you the build number. The current public version of KB 2006 (REV B+) is 6.1.0.6
