After doing a system restore about 3 days ago and then launching DNS 11.5 Preferred, I rec'd the error message that typically follows a restore (btw- why is that?). Therefroe, I chose "restore" for my profile and everything was aok... for 2 days (other than the only other 2 profiles I have show corrupted).

Yesterday, experienced situation where I would say one thing and what was transcribed was nothing at all like it. I rebooted DNS and it would work ok for most of the time and go back into the land of phychosis,

Today, however, when I booted up and began using my restored profile (BTW-should I be changing this profile to my "normal" profile now, and if so-how), absolutely nothing I transcribed took place.

I ran the microphone check and the first test passed while the second wuality one failed. I verified connections seem ok, battery is good (I replaced it just to be sure) in my Samson wireless mic, and still nada.

I'm attacking a screen shot of profiles as well as the log. Very frustrating!!!.

Any ideas?

Windows System Restore makes a registry change that prevents the current NaturallySpeaking user profile from being properly recognized. It is best to make a copy of your user profile before running Windows System Restore, if you have the opportunity. If not, you can usually restore from a previous user.

Failing the Microphone Check is not necessarily a bad thing. The Airline 77 will normally pass the Audio Check but this DNS utility isn't specifically calibrated for the Airline 77 and there are some instances where you can fail the Audio Check but still have stellar accuracy. Our recommendation would be not to worry about failing the Audio Check unless you notice a decline in accuracy.

PS: Are you using a USB soundcard or an integrated sound card with your Airline 77? We recommend against using integrated soundcards.

Lumis,

I am using the Pure Audio sound card purchased from you.

I wouldn't care if prduced results either, but it is producing absolutely nothing! I have verified that "Mute" is off, "Power" is on and I even replaced the battery with a new one and the unit is showing that it is getting power.

I am currently using the "Restored profile" as I have been for the past 2 days, without incident, but today - it is not transcribing anything.

Does the log provide any hints? Thanks.
