how do I get spell mode to stop putting spaces in with capital letters? I have really bad sinuses and several repetitive stress injuries from using the trackball over the years, so I really have to get hands free.

If I remember correctly, this particular bug existed in DNS 11.0, but was fixed in DNS 11.5. At least when I turn on spell mode or use the direct in-line spell option, DNS 11.5 does not do this.

Try checking for updates from the Dragon bar Help "Check for Updates". You should be prompted that an update to DNS 11.5 is available. If for any reason it is not, let us know.

There are two caveats with regard to installing the DNS11ServicePack1.exe.

1.  Don't try to run it. Always download to a folder on your system or to your Windows Desktop. If you elect to run it in the update fails, you'll end up wrapping your leg around your neck trying to get it again. That is, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall DNS 11.0 and then run the Check for Updates again. Avoid this like the plague. Be sure that you download the file DNS11ServicePack1.exe.

2.  Don't try to install the update patch (DNS11ServicePack1.exe) while Dragon is running. Close down Dragon completely and then run the update patch. If you try to do it while Dragon is loaded, it can fail to install proper and you will get all kinds of prompts about having to close this or close that. Also, make sure that all your other application windows are closed before you run the SP1 update patch, make sure that you turn off UAC (User Account Control) and temporarily disable any antivirus software, anti-malware software, etc.

If you don't follow the above suggestions and something goes wrong, you may end up suffering from the Jimmy Carter World War III speech.G'd night ya on ya own. At minimum, it may end up costing you a considerable amount of time and effort to get back to square one.

It isn't clear what you are referring to here. If you click on the link to "Add Topic" it should be clear, but then you added this topic so I'm not sure what you're referring to. Can you clarify?
