Topic Title: unknown error with KnowBrainer(icon) Topic Summary: it's not a big deal. KnowBrainer is working fine, but I'd just like to know what I did wrong.i Created On: 05/16/2012 08:27 PM Status: Post and Reply |

I added some simple commands (like the one in the JPEG attached) and some websites from my last version and now when KnowBrainer loads, Windows uses the generic unknown icon as you can see at the top at the end of my start bar. Could it be a problem with one of the commands I added?
I'm trying to get a new computer up and running and I'd like to be sure I'm not adding any bugs that might cause problems later on.
I was running KnowBrainer 2008 and the only thing I can think of that might be wrong with the commands I added is that many of them insert text for me using sendkeys instead of send system keys. Does it matter? Should I open the editor and change them all?
Thanks, Bob

This has nothing to do with your question but you might want to remove the extra space in HeardWord "mouse", "click". It may work but it might cause you some problems. Another slightly faster option would be to substitute ButtonClick 1,1 (for mouse click) which you'll find in your KnowBrainer Left Click command but let's get to your problem…
We can't be certain but we suspect that your KnowBrainer icon might be to a previous version of KnowBrainer. There are no problems with your commands and you can probably right-click on the current shortcut and reset the properties but it might be easier to just delete that shortcut and replace it with another by right clicking on C:\Program Files (x86)\KnowBrainer2011\KB2011.exe (note that the .exe portion of the name will probably be hidden) and selecting Pin to Taskbar. -------------------------
