What is Univoice and how do I know if I'm using it? This is one of the questions in the Knowbrainer profile editing process. (i.e., "Are you using Univoice?" |

UniVoice was developed by John Ames for NaturallySpeaking 8 - 10. Its original design was to function as a generic non-gender specific user profile that would allow a user to run the Audio Check and immediately begin using a profile without having to train. It would also allow multiple people to use the same user profile without having to change users.
UniVoice is no longer available to the public because it is basically outdated as Nuance has their own version which 1st appeared in Ver. 10 and was later refined for Ver. 11. You will not be prompted as to whether or not you are using UniVoice on the new forum which is scheduled to go live this Sunday, May 19, 2012. -------------------------
