I have looked up keyboard shortcuts which are very useful but many of them require the user to press the Windows key in conjunction with one or more keys. So I'm looking for a voice command to press that key using DNS 10.1 Professional.

Also, I have a Toshiba satellite laptop and it has several keys on the keyboard for useful functions such as muting sound and I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is any way to "train"  DNS to press these keys verbally.

Unimacro that comes with the Vocola download can press the Windows Key plus one letter.

Autohotkey can reach those speciality keys, and you could have DNS play the .ahk file with a voice command.

See "List of Keys, Mouse Buttons, and Joystick Controls" in Autohotkey help.

See also, "Remapping Keys and Buttons" in Autohotkey help, which also has a link to KeyTweak (which remaps keys at the Registry level).

Do a Google search to find links to those programs.

Sorry, but I have no idea what you're talking about concerning "autohotkey" or the .ahk  file.
Both of these are not recognized in DNS help.
Also, Vocola is but a cryptic reference to me.
So I guess I'm living under a rock but I don't know how any of these work with DNS.
One of the keys that I want to press is the Windows key (using DNS).
Could you please elaborate.

Ian

Do a Google search to find links to those programs.

A Google search can not be done from DNS help.  You have to do that from your browser, such a Internet Explorer or Firefox.
