I frequently use the markdown markup language. I have been in the slow process of creating custom commands within Dragon for creating markdown commands.

So for example, I have commands like "markdown blockquote" which will send "```" which begins or ends a quote in markdown. Or "markdown italics" which wraps the selected text in  "*" characters to form italics.

I am wondering if I'm reinventing the wheel. Seems like I can't be the first Dragon user who uses markdown frequently.

Is there an existing library of markdown commands that I could just import? I searched a bit, couldn't find anything.

I've never seen or heard of one over the years, so I guess you're the first one to inquire here. Once you get the commands up and running, feel free to post them in an XML file (export them from Dragon in XML) for the next guy, I suppose.
