Hello everybody,

I am using KB, Dragon and MS Word 2016.
when executing the command 'highlight dictation', (see script underneath), something else is happening.

script:
Sub Main
HeardWord "select", ListVar2
Wait 0.5
SendKeys "%h"
Wait 0.5
SendKeys "i"
Wait 0.5
SendKeys "{Enter}"
End Sub

but when I say 'highlight once upon a time', this is what happens.

a)     Selecti

b)

So i understand that the 'alt' combination in the command is actually doing something else. I have this probably with most of the 'alt' commands in word. they either don't work or they do something else.

How can i find out what the right 'alt' key combination is to execute a function - let's say turn on highlighting? I searched for it on google but couldn't find it.

For me I have to have a slight delay between pressing the <ALT> key and pressing the <h> key. It takes a while for the ribbon to annotate the available commands.

!! Well… The Microsoft Word application specific Highlight <dictation> command is currently about as effective our completely blind cats attempting to catch a wild turkey or shadowbox. It is fixed in the latest download or you can simply edit your existing command of the following script:

HeardWord "select", _arg1

Wait 1000

SendKeys "{Alt+h}"

Wait 500

SendKeys "i"

Wait 500

SendKeys "{Enter}"
