I want to create two commands Alt + ( home and G). I was using the copy command as a template but it's not working. Could someone please write them for me.
Thanks, Bob ------------------------- |

I copied and pasted them but knowbrainer wouldn't start. The problem was: syntax error.
I just upgraded from KB 2010 and I always create these commands because Dragon doesn't recognize my voice very well when I say words with m's in them and when I'm surfing it's much quicker and more efficient if I can just say "house" for my homepage and "Show It" (alt+g) to bring up keyboard shortcuts for links on each page.
Thanks for your help, Bob ------------------------- |

I presume you are using the mouseless browsing add-on for Google Chrome, with KnowBrainer you should use:
SendSystemKeys"{Alt+g}" Once the mouseless browsing numbers are displayed on the screen you should say things like: "spell one four" to click on link 14 etc. For your homepage use: SendSystemKeys"{Alt+Home}" Lindsay ------------------------- |

is there such a thing as the mouseless browsing add-on for Google Chrome? I have searched for it and can't find it. Would you please paste a link? I know such a thing exists for Firefox. Thanks ------------------------- --Caleb Win7 64bit i7 16g / DNS Pro 11.5 / Boom v4 |

Web browsing using NaturallySpeaking with anything other than IE is fraught with problems. Nothing works as well... unfortunately. One can spend a lot of effort writing scripts, both simple and complex, to drive Firefox or Chrome by voice, and in time, you might get acceptable results. But it is likely to be a slog, and Internet Explorer will probably still work better, and without the need to do much or any scripting. |

Note that your KnowBrainer command software also includes a VerbalBasic toolbox so that once you create a new command, you can simply place your cursor into the command field and dictate send system keys alternate g or send system keys alternate golf to produce SendSystemKeys “{Alt+g}” hands-free.
