I have played around with no success. In the following, if I wanted to delete more than 1 word before the insertion of what is assigned to SendKeys how would I arrange the HeardWord? I am interested in knowing how to delete more than one and/or many more words before the insertion of the desired text. Any help would be greatly appreciated. HeardWord "delete","next","word"

HeardWord "delete","next","word" Wait 500 SendKeys "The consumer" Cathy, Look at the deletion commands in the Command Browser. You have numerous variations: Delete [next | previous | last] <1-20> characters | words | paragraphs | lines yada yada yada. These are all Natural Language Commands and they are Global Commands. Keeping in mind that in DNS 11 Premium all these commands are lowercased, so you would simply replace the HeardWord command with: HeardWord "delete", "next", "three", "words" and substitute whatever number of words you want to delete (i.e., two, three, four, five, six, all the way up to twenty). You can also change the SendKeys text to whatever you want. For example, HeardWord "delete", "next", "six", "words" As long as you keep the HeardWord lowercased, the should all work. -------------------------

Thank you kindly, Chucker. "If you hear the sound of hoofbeats, think horses not zebras." Good advice!

Chuck's recommendation is perfect but here are 2 more macros to stretch the imagination
Option #2 SendKeys "{Ctrl+Shift+Right 7}" (with 7 words being an example) Option #3 If you only wanted to delete the phrase “the consumer” and it only appeared in one place in your document, you could substitute HeardWord "delete","the","consumer" . -------------------------
