When I click on the DMPE icon on my taskbar, the DMPE flashscreen briefly appears, followed by the dragon bar.  The dragon bar disappears after 2-3 seconds, and at this point dragon is not open (no functioning microphone or hotkeys, dragon not listed as running in task manager.)  After a second click on the task bar icon, the dragon bar promptly reopens and all is well.

If I try to open with Knowbrainer Pro17, dragon bar again is briefly displayed but closes and the dragon app is not open.

This minor annoyance has persisted through numerous windows 10 upgrades. Wondering if others have experienced this problem, or can prop[ose a solution.

No to this question but your version of DMPE 4 should be DMPE 4.3 (Build 15.5). If we are correct, you are 2 versions out of date and should download DMPE 4.3 Install, which is a full installation; not a patch.

Will try the update.

Somewhat surprised by your snarky PS, since I purchased DMPE4 and KB 2017 from you in 2018 (and previously DMPE2, an earlier version of knowbrainer, two phillips speech mikes, a 3-n-1 table mike, and two revolabs xtags). Oh well...
