1.  Is there any way a word can be added into the vocabulary of MULTIPLE profiles in one go?  (in this case the word COVID-19 which does not exist in the DMPE 4.3 vocabulary)

2.  In which file do newly added words get saved in DMPE 4.3?

We don't believe you can do exactly what you want. If you set up a Roaming user profile, you can share user information (including commands and vocabulary) with all of your personal installations or you can export your vocabulary to be imported into anyone's vocabulary but the path of least resistance would be to manually add COVID-19 to all user profiles, like you are probably doing now.

You can Export/Import your vocabulary as Plain Text, XML or a full export via the Manage Vocabularies menu (which completely overwrites the vocabulary that it is supposedly being imported into) but there is no single file. Your vocabulary is part of an encrypted group of files, which are protected. That's why Dragon includes the Export/Import function.

Dragon used to offer end users access to what was referred to as the center slot. This is designed for sharing vocabularies but we don't believe it is available and rarely used.

Hi!

There's an almost forgotten tool that's been delivered with Dragon since the old days and that is capable of doing what you want: nsadmin.

Open a command shell, cd to your Dragon's "Program" directory and call "nsadmin /?" to get a list of available command line parameters.

For your task, you'd create a text file with "COVID-19\covid nineteen" (or the spoken form you desire) and then call "nsadmin /words <Path to your file> /language=enx".

Dragon will add all words in this file to each vocabulary after loading.

HTH,
