The AS 4000 "Transcription Kit" is designed to compliment the DS 4000 Digital Voice Recorder.
DSS Player Pro Transcription software displays work folders, author ID´s, work types, date and time of each recording (file) and it´s duration. The folder structure can be fully customized to reflect the workflow of the office. Each of the 7 folders can be named and set to receive files from multiple locations.
As with the DS 4000, this software can be customized to allow direct FTP server connection or e-mail attachments. The Typist Alert provides either a visual or audible alert when new files are received. If a file has been encrypted by the author, it can be decrypted in the AS 4000 software.
A new feature in the software is : "auto opening of templates". This option is easily set by linking a template document to either the authors name and/or work type. On opening the file, the system will automatically open the selected template - a great way to ensure consistency and proper use of the company´s stationery!
Another new feature, is the "document auto-creation function". This provides the automatic return of the document to the sender from whom it was received or an alternative destination.
