The Andrea Half Duplex USB external soundcard allows you to connect any computer microphone and convert it to a USB audio device. This ensures high quality audio on any operating system. Used for speech recognition applications, internet telephony and all computer audio applications.
Further, we strongly recommend against the use of integrated soundcards because they are prone to microwave interference, RF interference, fan noise, and a host of other problems (due to the fact that they are unshielded). The advantages of an external soundcard are:
