These products feature the KnowBrainer exclusive UniVoice add-on designed by John Ames. UniVoice is a non-gender specific, non-accent specific, non-age-specific universal pre-trained NaturallySpeaking user file that only requires the end user to run the Audio Setup Wizard to set the volume level of their microphone. Most of our beta testers reported a 2% gain in accuracy over their own pre-trained NaturallySpeaking user file. A 2% gain in accuracy can be enormous when you're accuracy is already at 96%. A 2% gain in accuracy typically means 98% - 99% accuracy or 1/3 less errors.

Here’s my initial reaction to using UniVoice to transcribe a file from my digital recorder: Wow! The accuracy with UniVoice is so much better than before. Also, I’m initially seeing no reason to use a headset to dictate into my Olympus DS-3000 recorder. In my early tests, the accuracy from dictating without the headset is so high that it seems that using a headset could not improve the accuracy significantly. The accuracy is very close to 100% when just holding the recorder by my mouth and just talking. And I’m using the same UniVoice user that I use for dictating into a microphone. No separate user for the recorder with UniVoice.
