IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of our microphones include a built-in USB soundcard. Those that do not, typically include the recommendation to add a proper USB soundcard. This is because the integrated OEM soundcard (that came in your computer) may limit the accuracy of your new professional microphone, or even prevent it from working altogether. In the past we've always compared the Sennheiser ME3 to other microphones because it was the crème de la crème of the microphone world. This is no longer the case. theBoom tied in first place with the Hybrid Sennheiser ME3 microphone for noise canceling but bested the ME3 in accuracy. Although each of our test subjects produced different accuracy scores, they all had one thing in common. All test subjects scored 2% higher accuracy with theBoom.
